Aqara Motion Sensor P1 w/SkyConnect?

HA newbie here … has anyone been able to connect Aqara Motion Sensor P1 to SkyConnect?

I ask because documentation says it requires Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub & secured 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. If it has Zigbee3.0, it should work with SkyConnect without the hub/wifi, correct?

I ended up purchasing this sensor and can confirm it easily connects with SkyConnect
