Aqara motion sensors - sometimes not triggering

Hi there!

I have a bunch of aqara motion sensors controlling my lights. Unfortunately, the devices don’t always trigger which is a pain in the ass, and occasionally leaves people walking into a dark hallway. I’ve got the sensors configured with the Home Assistant ‘motion activated lights’ setup and it works fine… except when it doesn’t work.

I read somewhere that the sensors go to sleep for 60 seconds when triggered (why?!). I think this might be related, but I don’t think its always related to recent triggers

Can anyone recommend a motion sensor that works

  1. Immediately
  2. ALL the time
