I have been going back and forth With Aqara with their p2 Sensors. I Cleared all the app cache and restarted the router, aqara hub3,google nest hub and the HA with the new zbt. It will not complete the last step. I even have the Hub3 next to me I even brought the sensor right next to the HA same issue will not complete the install it stops at the last step goes no farther.
Make sure you have
- IPv6 enabled
- only one NIC in HA
- Matter hub and HA and device in the same network/VLAN
- copied the Thread credentials to the phone (if it is an Android, then try copying again. If it says it copied it once more, then it is bugged and you need to clear Google Play Services app cache. The correct response is that it is already using the credentials)
hello,
I just tried to pair this sensor with the below versions :
Home Assistant
Core 2024.8.0
Supervisor 2024.08.0
Operating System 12.4
Interface utilisateur 20240806.1
OpenThread Border Router
Current version: 2.9.1
Matter Server
Current version: 6.4.1
I can pair it with my android phone and also without my phone by following this link : Paring matter device without phone
Please ensure the following :
-Matter server is running (no error in logs)
-If using Skyconnect or sonoff as thread, check for the OTBR module to be running
-Check that matter integration is correct
-Check that OTBR is marked as prefered
-Check that OTBR credentials are used for android
