I’ve been slowly adding switches to my new Zigbee network. They’re all neutral variants of the 1-gang and 2-gang H1 switches. All have played nicely so far except for one.
In all the 2-gangs I can see power, states, energy, actions, the lot. I can couple, decouple, read those events… but this one 2-gang refuses to work decoupled. It shows me nothing but the two switches’ states of on or off. You’ll see it’s the Bedroom Passage Light:
It was paired in a strange way though. I had to specifically tell Z2M to only allow pairing to the nearest switch (since they’re all routers) because it refused otherwise. Likely couldn’t see the controller since it’s way too far. I’ve also only connected only one switch since the other one will be used as a “two way” dummy switch. That’s the plan anyway. Also with both in coupled mode turning a switch on gives me a slow red, blue, red, blue blinking. When I put the unconnected one into decoupled mode the LEDs behave correctly. I don’t know if any of these little differences could be causing it…
The other switches connected to this misbehaving one all report correct power, etc…
I’ve only been fiddling with these for a few days so I could likely be missing something.
