Aqara wireless mini switch automation only lasts 50 mintues

I have an aqara wireless mini switch model WXKG11LM, and I have a leviton dz15s light switch for my bedroom.

I am using Z2M to add the aqara WXKG11LM, and it’s not showing me all of the entities that this switch should have single, double, and hold actions.

I set up an automation for it to turn off the dz15s when the WXKG11LM is pressed (action). While this automation works, it drove me crazy last night. The action would only last 50 minutes. My light switch was off, and every 50 minutes the switch would toggle back to on. I would have to press the aqara button again to turn it off (and it would only last 50 minutes). I tested the automation while the light switch was on, and after 50 minutes it would toggle off.

I removed this automation. I am not sure why it is only lasting 50 minutes.

I have another dz15s light switch for my porch lights, and it has automations set to turn off/on for sunrise/sunset, and it works perfectly fine.

Do you have an action specified in the trigger? Like Single. It changing back to “None” which may be a default state change after an action is triggering the automation again. I don’t use the automation editor myself, but you should be able to choose a specific action, instead of “when the action changes” so it only triggers on “single”

I just changed the automation to this one below. Lets see what happens in the next hour lol.

Just wanted to chime back in to give an update. This works now. Something was wrong with the original automation when it wasn’t set to “single” automation. Thanks @Bartem
