Can anyone point me what should work with area awareness of Voice Assistant except for lights in an area? I cannot get it to work with switches or my covers.

Also using custom intents I was unable to trigger an intent with 2 TV in different rooms, but I just want to turn the one on, being in the room with my atom echo.
Also to note I use german as language but was also unable to use area awareness in English except for lights.
