I keep adding areas to devices and the devices keep losing the area they are assigned to.
Not every device. Seems random for which device changes. And definitely happens every time I update HA
Anyone else seeing devices losing their assigned area?

I know this is old but did you ever find a solution? I’m just starting out with Home Assistant and I’ve changed the Area on all my devices 3 or 4 times now and they keep disappearing. That’s pretty annoying when you have to manually change 30+ devices over and over. I did notice that only my Tuya devices are dropping the Area. So I’m wondering what would cause this behavior (HA, Tuya integration via cloud, or something else).
