Arenti GO1 Camera

Bought in haste as it seemed cheap in the run up to Xmas.
Does anyone know a way of integrating this into HA? I’ve tried via motionEye, but I can’t figure it out. There is no Arenti integration or HACS repository.
The camera doesn’t seem to be Onvif.

Many thanks and Happy New Year!

If you still wanna know, here is how I did it.
First I installed on my PC the Program ONVIF Device Manager.
There I could log in on top left corner with my ONFIV credentials from the Arenti App and the camera´s IP is shown.
I click on the cameras IP and then on “Live Video”.
The Stream should show now. On the bottom, below the stream there is a Link visible, e.g. for me:
rtsp://192.168.1.153:8554/Streaming/Channels/101

Now I go to Home Assistant, Add Integration “Generic Camera” and for the IP Address I entered
rtsp://admin:[email protected]:8554/Streaming/Channels/101
I did not use the fields for password or user. and above PASSWORD has to be replaced with ur ONFIV password from the Arenti APP.
That did it for me.

Not sure this advice is for the Arenti Go1 camera as it does not have Onvif and hence there is no Onvif username and password in the Arenti app.

I wondered if we could get it through the Google home link into home assistant?

Hi Paul,

That cam will never have the onvif, I’ve that confirmed by Arenti. and this make sense as this cam only activate when there is PIR detection. Or with the app. But this works for almost all other cam’s from that brand as they use Onvif.

the GO1 have no constant stream… so that will not work
