What i meant was device tracker in Ariela
Hello DeadEnd,
I have DuckDns, over https and home assistant always connected trought firefox with Ariela on.
But gps empty my note8 battery very fast and i just want to use the wifi tracker…but there is a bug because if you choose wifi tracker instead gps, thats gps who works…Ionut is on it…just wait for a fix…next update perhaps…
Guys, think about buying him a cup of coffee for his work!
correct me if I am wrong… yep I’m wrong.
Lol
Sorry…dont realise Ionut is a woman
I understand now why its a quality job
Nope, not a woman
Apologies - I swear I saw a post referencing it.
Should have just stayed silent.
Well its actually my mistake: i created the google play account using my girlfriend email so probably from there you have this idea
Ah, yes that would explain it. I saw the name on the account when I sent Ariela logs.
Hi, I have an issue with adding a widget to the home screen. It always crashes the Ariela app. Do i need to allow anything in the android 8.0 or in the Ariela to make it work?
I know about this and on tomorrow update will be fixed.
Do you think its possible to add Whatsapp Voice/Video Calls to the “Call Sensor” of Ariela?
Currently only calls via simcard or VoWIFI are recognized by the Sensor.
I will see if its possible and let you know.
Thanks, I was able to setup a MQTT connection. If I now start the voice recognition, it sends a MQTT message that HA receives, awesome. I do notice though that in some cases the Google listening popup immediately disappears when I stop talking, but sometimes it does not and it keeps listening for around 15 seconds, which is very long. Since the sending of the MQTT message is therefore also delayed. Are you able to decrease that timeout period?
In addition, I also activated TTS in HA. When I send something from HA/Node-Red on the indicated topic, nothing happens in Ariela. How do I debug this?
I don’t manage to get rid of duplicates. Tracker name in Ariela does have an “_” extra, is it supposed to be the same as the device name in Android?
Update: know I’ve deleted the integration, and I have 0 trackers

After deleting all integrations, restart HA.
Then go into the Ariela app and force mobile credentials.
Then restart HA again (after confirming integration now appears).
This process worked before for me.

I will look into it.

You will need to have the MQTT enabled in Ariela.

Worked like a charm, thanks.
MQTT sensors is enabled, MQTT is able to connect (the ‘check connection’ functionality says so, and as said messages from Google Assistant nicely reach HA) and under sensors I enabled TTS slider + mqtt checkbox.
It says:
MQTT Topic Trigger:
homeassistant/tts/android_moto_g7_tts/tts
Which is what I do, but nothing happens in Ariela
Please send me the logs so i can investigate. Thank you.
Ok, I just did. First I used the microphone action just to show that MQTT is working (again, HA/Node-RED received them correctly). Afterwards I sent a couple of messages with payload ‘test’ from HA on the indicated TTS topic, nothing happens in Ariela.
