Ariela - Home Assistant Android Client

If I open up the picture right after it was processed I see the different time stamps on the picture. So the picture is definitely not the same, when the notification gets fired.

I understand - so it could be because of the connection to firebase, because I do have full signal and I also do stuff on the Internet while I gets these multiple notifications.

This will need to be investigated more. Maybe you can find the moment when this happens?

Sure a time frame was today was between (CEST):
10:01:30
10:03:14

And when did you received the notification?

11 seconds after.
10 seconds because of my delay and 1 second for all the traversement on the network I guess?

11 seconds its not that much. Maybe you can also put in the notification the timestamp when it was send from HA. In this way you will have a better comparison?

Will take a look at it. Thank you so far!

@Ionut the updated app is crashing for me when I try to go to settings. I thought I fixed it by clearing cache and storage but it’s happening again.

I managed to track down the crashing due to location permissions. If location permissions is set to “Deny”, the app doesnt crash when selecting settings. If the settings are set to “Allow all the time” or
“Allow only while using the app”, the app will crash when opening settings.

Clearing the cache works because it will reset the location to “Deny”. Once location tracker is turned on, it will crash any time the settings are opened.

Thank you. I will have this issue fixed asap.

@Ionut Regarding the latest discussion about Notifications thats shows the same picture;

I think it might be related to the DeepStack integration. It looks like Rob have found something.

I thought I would just let you know.

Hehe, not only me, but also for other users that could have this issue. Thank you.

Hey again,
I think I might have mentioned this before, I just couldn’t find it though, so here it comes.

When using Ariela and enables UI --> Web UI and Lovelace UI, all sliders (light/volume) seems to be unresponsive. If I gently push on the slider area it it sometimes changes, but if I try to slide it up or down, nothing happens.
If I open up a browser on the phone or on a computer, it slides perfectly.

Do you have an idea why I experience this?

Can you try to disable swipe option from Ariela -> Settings -> UI?

Tried it - closed the app and reopened.
Still det same :disappointed_relieved:

Please let me know how it works

The clap sensor sounds cool, do you have any idea how much battery is impacted since the mic has to be on at all times?

Any word on the custom slider card fix?
