Artwork not showing on "media browser"

I have sonos app which I have linked my NAS too for playing locally stored music.

The Sonos integration in HA through a media card lets me browse all these albums but I have no artwork when selected albums.

The artwork appears in the media card when playing though.

Any idea why artwork does not appear when browsing media?

I’ve exactly the same issue since the Kodi 19 upgrade on my Nvidia Shield TV. Both the Android/iOS app and the webpage don’t show any artwork.

I just installed Home Assistant and are having the same issue with no art work being shown for Kodi.

Using Shield with Kodi 18.5

Any resolve found?

Thanks

In case that your kodi integration has a username and password to access kodi and you are using chrome as browser, this issue does not belong to kodi or Home Assistant at all.

It is a Chrome Platform security freature

You can try Firefox instead, it works for me.

Thanks for your response! Unfortunately I was using FireFox and also tried on Safari and Brave. All give same issue.

UPDATE: Well I forgot about the page and suddenly the art work was loaded. I guess it takes long for the artwork to load as I have a very large library. Any ideas how this can be cashed to make it load quicker?

I have a similar issue. I had Kodi 18 installed for a few years on my Shield and it automatically updated to v20 last week. Since it happened, the movie/series artwork won’t be displayed in both the library and as thumbnail of the media player entity.
Has anyone found a fix?
