I’m looking for a fast way to assign an Area for each one of my lights, considering I have 255 devices to change, and going through each one, clicking it, clicking the gear icon, changing the area and going back (and all the loading inbetween) is way too much work.
Is there a faster way I can achieve this?

Really nobody? This makes “area” pretty useless… 
Hass CLI could do it

This can be done through Settings → Devies & Services → Devices, and then click on the Enter selection mode. and select the devices you want to assign it to a specific area, and in the top right of the screenm move it to the desired area.
