I have a Phillips Hue Zigbee light bulb that I installed next to my bed called “Lance’s Light”. Zigbee see’s it as “Signify Netherlands B.V. LCA…” It works fine in HASS and Alexa recognizes it. However, neither Assist nor AV recognize it. It is connected to my bedroom Area.
I also have some switches and other smart lights (Wireless) in main lighting overhead.
Assist/Voice Assist (A/VA) recognize my switches and I can control the devices from A/VA but not any of the lights? Everything works manually from the Dashboard and I can control the devices from Alexa. It is only A/VA that is giving me problems.
The bulb is exposed to Assist and I have added a few Aliases which will not work either.
I am a noob with respect to HASS.
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot or what I can try to get V/VA to recognize these lights so I can use voice to turn the lights on/off?
