I am using ASUSWRT for precense detection, however sometimes it creates new devices.
For example my phone is now “device_tracker.oneplus6t_4” and it has previously been device_tracker.oneplus6t_1, device_tracker.oneplus6t_2 etc.
Why is this?
Maybe you have MAC address randomized enabled instead of Phone MAC on your phone? You can check/set that in your WiFi settings…
