Athletic Layer offering sport-specific clothing advice based on weather, air quality, and pollen data

I thought it would be a good opprtunity to share my latest probably fairly unique project.

A Home Assistant integration that gives personalized clothing advice for runners, cyclists, hiking and … Uses Open-Meteo weather, air quality, and pollen data to generate sport-specific layering recommendations adapted to your health conditions. Includes a Lovelace card with live weather, 8h rain forecast, and hourly outfit tips — in 5 languages.
It includes a Lovelace card showing live weather, rain forecast, and outfit tips.

The idea came about because I have rheumatoid arthritis and asthma, but that doesn’t stop me from running in good weather conditions :running_man:

I welcome constructive criticism and/or contributions to further fine-tune the integration and possibly expand it to include other outdoor sports.

Pollen data is usually not that globally available, so what areas do open-meteo cover in that aspect?

That’s Europe only, without costs or mandatory login. As far as I know, a fully open global pollen API practically does not exist, unfortunately.
