This just came out and is on checkpoint. With Nabu-Casa, HAOS, and the like, I figured I would drop this here so that the Dev community is aware. This appears to be a fairly well organized threat actor based in China. I don’t know exactly how they are planning to attack and they haven’t said that it’s targeting Home Assistant but it is targeting Linux systems. I know you guys have security in mind always but I figured I would raise this up to put it out there in case there’s hardening that can be done in the interim.
