Hi all!
Just starting to setup my system for the first time. As I am waiting for mi Pi to arrive I am playing around with a VM machine image of a pi and HA.
I want to be able to play sound from my Samsung “The frame” tv to all my Chromecast controlled speakers but donn’t know if it can be achieved.
My setup:
Samsung “The frame” TV - connected to thorugh Samsung One connect with fiber optic cable ->Onkyo reciever with 7.1 sound.
I also have a ROTEL amplifier that is connected to 3 Chromecast audios for multiroom audio setup.
What I want:
When I play for instance music from my Samsung TV (youtube app) I would love for it to send the sound to all of my Chromecast devices so I could get the sound in all my rooms. This would be very cool when playing music videos. Ideally it should also play the sound on the Onkyo - giving me sound in a total of 4 areas.
Anyobody got a clue what I am talking about here?
