double check the installed package name and also check the default webview being used…then check app configuration logs to see what package we are printing.

  1. To check package name you go to App info for webview and read the package name
  2. You have a custom ROM its your responsibility to know how to change things, I dont use a custom ROM but I know for a fact lineage uses unsupported webview packages because I had helped others in the past and they figured out where the change is. Try looking in developer tools?
  3. You know where to check the logs as you already provided them.

if i test the SIP , in a browser instead ofn companion app, if it works then, is it then still related to the webview? so if you say that webview is causing it, then it should not work on chrome browser on android app, right? i can do that test later

scroll down in the second screenshot, it should be there…did you look at the logs? we also print the used package name there too

no it was missing…force stop the app…reopen the app and go to the logs and you should see a line like: android/app/src/main/java/io/homeassistant/companion/android/webview/WebViewActivity.kt at 74f8d8453cadacf8cd2a328dbac4fb6ec4e411f3 · home-assistant/android · GitHub

its possible that exoplayer and/or webview does not suppport the mime type. The app doesnt provide any restrictions there

Just trying to understand the app, why are the streams coming from the camera integration showing without an issue? Is there somekind of converting
