I’d like to set up Home Assistant to play doorebell sounds or announcements over my home audio.
I’m running Hass in a proxmox container on a Dell 720xd server and my amplifier has a special analog input that when supplied an audio signal, will lower the volume of all connected inputs and play the audio from the “paging” input (in this case Home Assistant).
Does anybody know or have experience with what PCIE sound card would be compatible with a 720xd, proxmox, and HomeAssistant?
As a secondary option, perhaps a usb audio device that works with Hass?
