Audio probelm

So, im running HA on a HyperV machine. All is great except we all know how limited HyperV is with its ability to pass though, well anything.

Now I need to setup audio for a media player. What are my options here?

The audio will go via the source to an AMP where it is then played. The HyperV host has a 3.5mm audio jack, so I can easily go from 3.5mm to RCA into the back of the AMP, however I cannot pass the audio from HA to the HOST.

Is it possible to setup a ESP32 to connect to wifi and just stream the audio from that to the AMP?

Any other options / recommendations?

Essentially yes: ESPHome Media Players

Maybe a USB Soundcard can be passed through to the virtual machine - but no idea about HyperV :put_litter_in_its_place:
