I've got an Aura SmartShade controller. It's the version that comes with a Wifi+USB dongle. Inside, it's a Tuya device. WIth the included remote control, it works as expected.
I went through the reset procedure and then paired it with the Tuya app on Android. That got it to show up in HA in my Tuya integration. The only controls that show up in the device page are "open" and "stop". The "close" control is grayed out.
If I select the curtain icon, I get the cover pop-up with controls for putting the curtain at any percentage open or closed that I want.
None of these controls actually do anything to the device. It just sits there silently scowling at me. I can set up an automation action to partially or fully open or close it; running those actions reports success, but nothing happens on the device.
At this point, I should tell you how it behaves with the Tuya app. Alas, that app is stuck on the calibration screen, where the "start calibration" button doesn't seem to do anything. I can't get past that to see if manual controls in the app would work. However, off that same screen I can set a scheduled opening or closing, and both of those work at the scheduled time. So, I'm confident that the app can control the device.
So, has anyone gotten this to work completely, either with the Tuya app or with HA?
