@gaz99 if you make the photo of the box big it says, “* Control each mains socket independently”
OK, good news, the item has a TYWE2S module so should be suitable to load Esphome. There was only 1 left on display at the store in Belconnen.
The case needs a tri-lobe bit to get the screws out and build is OK though in my one there is some nasty corrosion on the USB board. The wifi module is facing the right way to get to the pads on the board without removing the module.
Thank you, I ordered click abd collect at my local store in case they run out
Gaz,
very interested to hear if your esphome upload worked.

Haven’t tried yet, I need to map the pins to relays first.
I will provide an update when I get that done, unless Nick gets it done first !!
Not likely, I am working on a trial, and will struggle to even find time to pick 'em up.
But bingo, the pins are listed here Powertech 4AC 2USB Power Strip (MS6107) Configuration for Tasmota
Ewww “de-solder”
You need to desolder the TYWE2S in order to flash it as the TX and RX lines are shared.

Big W have a bunch of Cygnett WiFi and Zigbee products on special at the moment.

The motion sensor and button are reported to be detected as Sonoff devices in Zigbee2MQTT.
The single outlet and 4 port power board work with SonnOff LAN from HACS.
Looks good. Are you going to allow people to list if they are flashable by ESPHome or Tasmota etc?
Don’t suppose there is any chance of flashing these with ESPHome?

Not ESP based,
This device uses WB2S module which needs to be replaced with WT-01N, ESP-02S or WT32C3-01N module.
Bummer. Is there a small form factor AU power monitor plug/socket that has some sort of local integration?
Does grid connect app mean it is Tuya based? I’m still running tuya cloud stuff so it might be good for me currently
Yes it is Tuya based.
For now planning to list as many main power device with AU/NZ certified
Also products has to be sourced from AU/NZ suppliers (Needs the RCM and approval)
Both is required to be valid product in Australia

Be aware of the Kogan KASPEMHA. Load was off at the time this spontaneously combusted, the damage appears to have come from the mains/load sensing circuit. The load fuse was still intact.

Yeah some of mine had exploded ICs, like you see here:
I think Sparky Dave reported the same failure.
Fan switches?
Anyone have any recommendations? I’ve just seen the below pop up on Amazon - not sure if this is new or not.
