Auto-complete won't let me do anything

Hi everybody,

please take a look at the attached video. I am trying to add an entity for energy measurement, but no matter what I type, the field “auto-completes” things it shouldn’t.

It is hardly even possible to copy & paste the entity_id, because even then it will auto-complete all available entities instead of showing the one I actually want.

This happens with Firefox 115.0 (64-Bit) as well as Google Chrome Version 115.0.5790.102. It has been like this for quite some time now (for me), but I didn’t do anything about it because my energy dashboard was set and I didn’t think I’d have to add anything :wink:

Now I do, and it’s so bad that I cannot add the entity I need to at all.

Is there some way to manually configure this through yaml?

I had the same, but I was able to edit it by manually picking it from the long, long list. Typing is useless. Also, when you edit it again to change the solar prediction or anything, the field is cleared so you have to go through the whole list again.
