My PowerView hub, from 2019, stops working every few days, and won’t respond until I power cycle it. As a workaround, I would like to create an automation, preferably in Node Red, that runs periodically, checks if the hub is working, and if not cycles the power using a smart outlet into which the hub is plugged.
My question: How can I best ask the hub, or one of its controlled shades, if it’s up and running?
The shades are battery powered, so I don’t want to ask too much of them.
