Automating AdGuard blocked services?

Not sure if this is the right place but here goes…

I’ve installed and configured the AdGuard plugin in Home Assistant. It works great, but I have a specific use case I can’t quite work out how to implement. I want to enable/disable blocked services from Home Assistant. I don’t need to do it on a per-client basis; globally is fine. But there isn’t a switch for “Blocked Services” exposed to HA.

The reason is that I want to block things like Facebook and Reddit for certain times of the day, and automating it with HA seems like the way to do that since AdGuard doesn’t have these features built-in.

A brute-force way to do it would be to enable/disable AdGuard protection globally, using the switch.adguard_protection entity. And this works. But it’s very crude, and it means that when AdGuard is off, it’s fully off, so we don’t get Ad and Malware blocking.

Anyone got any advice or tips on how I might be able to proceed?

Thanks

Hi @stooshie45 - were you able to come to a resolution for this? I’d like to do the same thing.
