Automation block diagram for a new home

Hello,

The construction of the house will start in a year and I would like to prepare an installation concept.
The goals are as follows:

  • Priority devices are to continue to function even when the entire control cabinet stops working.
  • Use ZigBee and WiFI for wireless communication.
  • For wired inputs / outputs, use a ModBus module connected to the Home Assistant

Did you ever accomplish your goals?

Your diagram is gone now, but I was hoping to see some design docs. Iā€™m planning to move and need to figure this stuff out for the new house.
