When altering/creating a new automation. Can we get a prompt if for some reason back button is pressed, or bassically any action that will change the page to a new location that will ask “unsaved changes will be lost, are you sure you want to navigate away?” or something like this?!?? My mouse has a touchy back button spot on it and when i’m in an automation and clicking on multiple windows to get the configs going and I have a good sized configuration done and I accedentally click back on my mouse side button, I LOSE IT ALL!!! This is KILLING ME! I swear there used to be a prompt, but it doesnt seem to be there any longer. It’d be nice to have to to catch myself.
One time I had a lot into an automation with testing and verifying and getting it just rigght after over an hour of work, and I just put my hands up after losing it and said screw it! Even on my laptop, I will accedentally push a chrome back hot key or something and it will go back too. (not pushing ALT+<- arrow for default bak/fwd key shortcuts)
If this was a thing and now its gone like i’m thinking, I wonder if it is a bug then? This is happening to all areas. I’d be nice to have a prompt to detect if I’m in File Editor and I made a change and navitgate away or click another file, then it prompts before chaning. that might be up to that plugin maker to do that feature, but if HA can just do that overall where if changes were made since going to the page and not saved, then prompt before navigate away.
