Hey guys, maybe this is a stupid question but something I noticed yesterday…
Within some automations I use for trigger the state of that automation changing from off to on (i.e. when I leave house I switch off some automations and switch them back on when I return). This was working some months before, when I returned home the automation was enabled and actions (if needed) executed. Yesterday I noticed that it doesn’t work any more with this sort of trigger (so, when I return home, the automation itself is enabled, but no actions are run).
Has something changed in meantime, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Turning automation on/off is generally a bad practice. You rather add conditions in the automations, so that they only run when you are home/away whatever.
Also you’d need to post some code of the non-triggering automations in order to get help. Ha changes so fast and drastically, could be 100s of reason why what worked months before doesn’t work now.

Why is it a bad practice? I generally used it on simple ambient lights, switch on-switch off situations. And since it worked well I didn’t feel the need to make it any more complex.
There’s no code to copy, as I did it in visual editor.
If I don’t find a simple solution, I will rework it some other way.
