I have a need to read out instructions step by step on a Google Home speaker (or Alexa for that matter). Each step in the instructions should be read one at a time, with the user saying “next step” (or similar prompt) for the next instruction to be read. Rather like recipes are read out I guess.
Only this is for a medical application in the home where clear steps should be followed (its not a life or death thing, just an aid).
Any ideas how I’d go about doing this?

Thanks, but its not actually recipe I am talking about - its a set of instructions that should be read one after each other, each step waiting for a ‘next’ prompt from the user. I imagine I can do this via HA and send each line to a Google Home or Alexa speaker, hence the question here.
Those Google links describe finding a recipe online, using certain websites, and sending it to your Google home speaker.
