Is it only me, or are there more people have the next “problem” with the Aqara motion sensor in Automations UI.
I think the “problem” did come from 2021.3
Aqara motion (GZCGQ01LM) have 4 entities in zigbee2mqtt:
-Battery
-Illuminance
-Illuminance Lux
-Signal
But in the automations i only see 3 options:
-Battery
-Illuminance Lux
-Signal
I’m missing -Illuminance
Is this a bug or do i have made some mistake somewhere?
It’s working now with “Illuminance” like i would, because i use the YAML option.
Thanks in advanced
I have the same problem. I recognized it, because my automation to switch on the living room lights at dusk does not work any more.
If I open the automation in the ui editor, it states an unknown entity is used as device trigger. In yaml mode, the entity is correct specified, but it is not possible to select it as trigger and the trigger is not triggered at all.

You can use it as a trigger, if you use the YAML editor, and put it manual in it.
I did also made a issue on github: Missing illuminance in Automation (GZCGQ01LM) · Issue #50674 · home-assistant/core · GitHub

New update, its not a problem in HA. It’s a problem in Zigbee2Mqtt.
So i made a new Issue on the GITHUB of Zigbee2Mqtt: unit of measurement is missing (GZCGQ01LM) · Issue #7638 · Koenkk/zigbee2mqtt · GitHub

@AndreasNagel : Koen did give the sollution to get the “illumiance” back in HA, so you can use it in the UI.
You have to make a change in your config file in Zigbee2MQTT.
