I have a few automations which use the last triggered time to limit the amount the automation is triggered. It would be great to have this option available in a more user friendly way. For example the number of seconds that should be expired before the automation is triggered again.
With recent updates to the way automations are handled this is now very easy. Leave the automation as the default “single mode” and just add a delay at the end of your actions for how long you would like as a minimum between triggers. If the automation is triggered again while waiting in this delay all that happens is a log entry.
