While this may seem similar to the other popular request for tags/folders, I’m suggesting something different that could be implemented as well as that request.
Currently you can sort automations by the name or last triggered columns. Clicking on the column will sort it in that order, low to high, clicking again will change it to high to low. A third click sets it to some order that I have not been able to figure out yet.
It would be nice if it remembered this sort state if you go out and come back in again to the automation screen, similar to what it does in developer tools. Currently it just sets back to it’s default of name a-z.
I often use the sort by most recently triggered when trying to debug automations, so I guess the problem I’m trying to solve is saving a couple of clicks every time I go back into this screen.
Ideally it would stay where its set until changed, but if it had to reset to default at a restart, that would be better than the current operation. The ultimate ideal for me, would be the first click on the last triggered column shows most recent to oldest.
TLDR; remember the sort sequence in the automations list
