Automation to Record to local NAS on motion

I have my TAPO C100 configured with Onvif, but what I want now, is to create an automation to save videos when detecting motion, to my Synology NAS.

How can I do that?

Not sure why is this a question related to Home Assistant - you should be able to accomplish what you want in the TAPO settings (unfortunately I do not own a TAPO so I don’t know if that’s possible)

If you want to use HA, then I suggest installing the Motion Eye addon, it is really good and useful for advanced automations, for example I use it to record and save to NAS when a door contact sensor is opened, not when there is movement because most movement happens when we walk around the room and I am not interested in that, I only want to record when the entrance door is opened

the beauty is that Motion Eye allows me to save footage some time before and some time after the contact sensor is triggered, which allows me to also see who left the house, not only who entered the house

For someone who may help, having ONVIF integration and being a compatible camera with Synology NAS, the solution is simply using Surveillance Station, a DSM app.
