Automation to switch between dark/light mode on iOS?

Hi all,

I’m using an iPad as a wall tablet. The Hassapp for iOS supports dark and light modes, and so does iOS. I’ve configured both to switch automatically depending on the time of day. But it only switches if the iPad is put to sleep and woken up, screen is locked and unlocked, etc.

It doesn’t seem to change automatically if you leave the screen running 24?

Is there an automation I could maybe setup to do forcibly? I’ve found threads that mention changing themes based on the time of day, but not dark/light mode specifically?

All fixed, I think there is a bug and calling the theme service won’t change between light and dark mode…

So instead just used themes instead.
