Automation to turn light off fails randomly

I have a dead-simple automation to turn a light on at 20:00 and then off at 21:30.

After working 100% reliably for about 6 weeks, since the last couple of weeks it’s failing to turn the light off about 20% of the time. The log reports that the light was turned off. Last night when it happened again, using the HA app, it turned off no problem.

The light in question is a zigbee LED strip controller.

What can I do in this situation? Add a secondary “off” automation?

Hi, more likely the problem is not the automation.
What do you see in the traces from that automation?
Is your zigbee network stable/reliable?

Just an update: I added three “turn off” commands, and now it’s reliable again.
