I don’t get it. When I use the web UI to make automations scripts appear in the automations.yaml file but nothing in the config.yaml file. No automation seems to be saved in the web ui either…
Any help?

Any help?
Why would anything appear anywhere else but the automation file when using the editor?
If the script just appears in the automations file I don’t see it in the web ui and I can’t edit it. Doesn’t seem to work either…
I have no idea what you’re trying to say. Does it write your automation to the file or not?
I write the automation in the web ui
I save the automation
It appears in the automations file
It doesn’t appear in the web ui, as if no automation was entered
It doesn’t work (no automation triggered)
You have to restart homeassistant to get the new automation loaded in to the system.
I did restart the Home Assistant.
Seems like the web UI isn’t ready yet.
Do you have the automations.yaml file added to your configuration.yaml with !include?
automation: !include automations.yaml
What are you running it on?
Yes, automation: !include is there
I am running Hassbian latest release on a RSP3.
