Automations: dir and file. BOTH possible?

Hi,

I like to have my automations organized in different files. So my config looks like

However, I noticed that automations created in the GUI are always saved to automations.yaml in the root directory.

Is there a way to have both methods available?

In this way

  • I still can use all my separate files in the directory, AND
  • I can use the GUI to add adhoc automations

Any suggestions?

automation: !include automations.yaml
automation blahblah: !include_dir_merge_list automations
