Hi. I just installed this gate motor. I live in France. I searched around and there is no one talking about a home assistant integration.
I’m gonna try to hook up a meross WiFi garage door switch msg100 which is homekit compatible.
The drawback is that the sensors are wired so it’s gonna be weird to stick them.on the gates.
I’ll come back with an update
Hi, sorry didn’t see your question… actually they’re selling a connected module(tuya) that can open the whole gate, for the car to pass through. With the RF remote you can either open both gates or only one to let a person through.
Anyway, you get the module connected to ha and it’s pretty reliable. U have a wired gate sensor to see if it’s open or not. And the integration can work online or offline with the help of localtuya.
Me, I needed to have complete control so I opened a remote, wired it to an esp32 and now I can fully control it locally through esphome. I kept the tuya thingy for backup.
Actually it is a Tuya module that is included with the home gate. So you need to download tuya app, reset the module adn search for the module with Tuya app. After that you only need to integrate tuya in home assistant, the device will be recognise directly even with the state info.
