AVM FRITZ!SmartHome - Actual Room Temperature Support

Hello everyone,

I’m currently using the Fritz!Box Smart Home Integration in Home Assistant to manage my Fritz DECT Thermostats (e.g., Fritz!DECT 301). One feature that seems to be missing in the integration is the ability to adjust or set the actual room temperature directly within Home Assistant.

The Fritz!Box interface allows the manual adjustment of the actual room temperature to correct inaccuracies in the thermostat’s internal temperature readings. Unfortunately, this important option doesn’t appear to be available in Home Assistant at the moment.

I’d like to request the following:

  1. Is the actual room temperature adjustment available via the Fritz!Box API? If so, could this feature be integrated into Home Assistant so users can adjust it directly within the interface?
  2. If the actual temperature adjustment is not currently available through the API, is there a way to request this feature from AVM for future API updates?

This functionality would be particularly helpful for users who rely on external temperature sensors for more accurate control of their heating systems.

Thank you in advance for your help, and I hope this feature can be added in the future!

Best regards,

Sascha

Hello Sascha,

Is the actual room temperature adjustment available via the Fritz!Box API?

the settings around the temperature offset (Temperaturabweichung) are not available via the api of the fritzbox. You have to set this offset on the fritzbox WebUI itself. But the reported current temperature (Isttemperatur) does already contain the offset, so in HA you see the adjusted temperature.

is there a way to request this feature from AVM for future API updates?

One can reach out to AVM via the developer suport to request such api additions.

regards,
Michael

Hi Michael,

thank you very much for your answer. I have made a request to AVM to see if they can make this entity available in the API in the future.

Best regards,

Sascha
