I am not sure how to go about this but I have my hands on all the Axis Z-Wave devices and I noticed they are not natively named properly although it looks like, so far, they work. What can I provide to help with the device information getting into updates? I thought I saw some instruction about this before but I can’t find it now.
Hi! I’m the maintainer of the Axis component. I’ve had no thought of adding support for it so far. How would the sensors be exposed? Is it available over the Metadata stream?
I am not sure what you are asking but here is a screen capture of what the Power On/Off Switch looks like in Home Assistant. It also seems to have four unidentified sensors.
Ok, you mean you have them added through the z-wave component?
Oh yes, I forgot to mention that. I didn’t attach them to the PTZ they are meant for, I attached them through the Z-Wave Component as I want to use them independently and I was curious if they would work (they should).
They are really similar to Hank devices by design, probably OEMd
