Backup created but not shown in UI

Expert,

I have issue with backup file did not show up in the UI (Settings > System > Backup).
I have created full backup from the UI and when SSH to check in the /backup folder the tar file was created but it won’t show file in the UI.

Then I check the super visor logs found this error.

24-02-28 19:36:20 ERROR (MainThread) [supervisor.backups.backup] Can’t read backup tarfile /data/backup/616a51fd.tar: “filename ‘./backup.json’ not found”

What cause the supervisor cannot read the backup file?

Please help.

open up the tar file. inside there should be . folder with a backup.json file in it. is it there?

if, for some reason, it’s not there, ha is calling it invalid. i dunno why it would have saved w/o the backup.json it in… but…

I’ve got exactly the same issue and not sure how to resolve that.

I cannot extract file and it show file is invalid. Seem like the file corrupted.
After dig into the forum found one post mentioned about MariaBD cause the back up file to get corrupted.

I have tried backup without MariaDB, then everything works.

Any Idea to to make backup with MariaDB?

Stop the MariaDB add-n, make backup, start the MariaDB add-on

I have tried, but it won’t work. Same thing happen. has file in the /backup folder. File was corrupted and won’t show in UI.
