Backup files "not an archive"

I did apply a password to them when they were backed up and I have that password, but I never get to a point where the password is even used.

Backup/Snapshots no longer decryptable?

For those who are still looking for a solution: i have created a simple python script to decrypt a secured snapshot. Off course it would be nicer to have the option to extract a snapshot from the ‘hassio’ tool, but this works.
