Backup of zwave stick

I have a zerotec gen5 zwave stick plugged into my Linux box. I want to backup the stick configuration. Have found software for this but only runs on a windows box. Can I simply unplug the zwave stick from mu Linux box, plug it into my windows machine, backup the config and then move it back to Linux without destroying anything?
Has anyone tried this and been successful or is there another method? Could not find any software for Linux.

Thanks

Did you mean Aeotec? I would stop whatever iteration of Zwave you are running before unplugging the stick. I don’t think it would destroy anything, but just to be safe.

I have backed up my Aeotec stick before and didn’t have any issues.

Yes Aeotec, sorry. Thanks will give it a try.

Backup on windows works without issue

Definitely stop HA/open Zwave first

On a side note, I also recommend stopping before OS updates. I had kernel and docker updates break Zwave install before
