Hello,
my Home Assistance Supervised instance is running in a virtual machine on a QNAP NAS. With the onboard tools of the VirtualisationStation I do a weekly backup of the whole image to a remote location. In addition to that there is a daily snapshot taken by the tool.
My question is: is it still necessary to use the backup mechanism of Home Assistant (and store them on a remote place) or would it give me any benefits to the method I am using already?
