Hi,
The person badges on top of my dashboard stopped showing the persons location since the last update. The persons have the correct devices assigned and I can find the geocodes location in the corresponding entity.
Did anything change here?

Bump. Double checked everything…cant see whats wrong. Nobody else with that problem?
You’re going to have to expand on what you mean with examples of what changed. Many people don’t use badges.
On top of my dashboard I have two badges for the persons, my wife and me. They were there from the beginning, I never removed them. They used to show the persons location (home / away and upon click geolocation), using the associated device tracker.
Now they just say “unknown” and also dont show the geocoded location upon click.
Myself, my wife, and two daughters all say we are “Home” on my badges no matter what I try or where we are. The app is not sending the location data. We all have iPhones and have location for the app to always and precise location enabled. Still no updates. My daughters are at school right now and HA says their entities are at home and on wifi which is incorrect.
Are you able to access HA from outside your LAN using whatever you have designated as the external URL? Or via the cloud URL if you’re using that?
EDIT: Also iphones in particular have a setting that causes them to remove/disable unused apps. Unused to them means no one has opened the UI, background usage does not count as usage for the purposes of this tracker. If users are not actually opening the app then ios may have killed it. Check to see if that happened and make sure to disable that setting if it did.
I forget where it is since I haven’t done it in a while. Can google or see if someone else remembers. Or ask in the ios channel of the discord server. Also the last part is probably a good idea in general if these suggestions don’t help since there’s probably other ios specific tips and tricks.
I switched to using the iCloud integration for tracking instead of the HA app for tracking. Works as it should now.
I got mine fixed recently but I dont remember how.
I think it was reinstalling the fritz integration what fixed the device trackers.
