Badges: preferred image/picture format?

Hi,

Is there a preferred image/picture format for badges in Hassio? A bit like the mdi icons 16*16?

I know the system reformats images but it might be less processor intensive to have dedicated badge size images?

Was this ever answered? I’ve been able to use an image as big as 398x398 px. What is the native dimension where the system won’t have to resize it?
