Baha box on indiegogo

Anyone aware of this initiative? Looks like someone wants to make a profit on Homeassistant…

Not techically a profit because they’re selling hardware with pre-installed software…
But I agree the instructions should be easier, like

  1. Get a Raspberry Pi for $40, a SD card for $10, a SD card USB adapter for $11, an ethernet cable for $7, and a power supply for $15.
  2. Download the image and the image writer. Launch balenaEtcher, plug the SD card in to your computer, and write the image.
  3. Plug the SD card into your Raspberry Pi. Plug the ethernet cable into your router and the Raspberry Pi. Plug the power supply into your outlet and the Raspberry Pi.
  4. Wait for ~20 minutes while it sets up Home Assistant for the first boot, and then go to http://homeassistant.local:8123/ to start setup!
