Ban IP and Unable to connect to Home Assistant

I recently managed to enter the wrong password into HomeAssistant from my desktop PC several times. I got a ban on the IP, which is correct. We logged in to the Home Assistant from a different IP address (my phone), deleted the configuration file that blocked my IP address on the Desktop, and restarted the Home Assistant.

Although my login is already being loaded from my desktop PC, I will log in, but then instead of the Home Assistant homepage, it puts me on the “Unable to connect” page. A message appears in the error log
“Logger: homeassistant.components.http.ban
Source components/http/ban.py:116”

Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?

Nobody knows where the problem might be?

You might need to remove your authentication entries from the hidden storage directory. Search for forum entries related to HA password problems. Good luck.

Do you mean directly from the SD card? And do you have any explanation for why this should be the solution?

Today I tried to change the IP and it didn’t help either. Home Assistant seems to remember something like a fingerprint device and it blocks it :frowning:

Take a look here.

Thanks for the link. I know where to delete data from a folder. I am not just looking for a solution, but the cause of the problem so that I can prevent it in the future. Some ideas?
