Dear community. Maybe someone has already implemented this
I would like to scan a barcode with my (Android) smartphone. Then query the product via a database 1. Then add the product to my shopping list.
The Home Assistant app cannot read barcodes directly. However, you can scan a barcode on your cell phone and then “share” it with the Home Assistant app. This event can then be evaluated via “mobile_app.share”.
Now my question:
Do any of you know of an (Android) app for scanning barcodes where you can set a config so that it is always and automatically shared with Home Assistant?
There are what feels like thousands of apps. If by chance one of you has already done something like this, it would save me a lot of work
