Basic entities like light, switch not available

Hello All,
I am totally new in HA. After downloadig and seting up HA, I am expecting light, switch like entities but I can’t see the same. No matter whether I seup on Pi or Win 10, behaviour is same.

Am I missing something?

Thanks a lot for your reply. I totally misundrstood HA as previously I was using another framework where without any device, there were all entities available.
I am using MQTT switch and later I created the same entities in configuration.yaml and now works fine. Home Assistant is the best framework which is quite simple with lot of interfaces.
